Obama: Kennedy’s Story Is ‘Story Of Service’

President Barack Obama this afternoon signed the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act, which will open up new service opportunities for millions of Americans. Obama said the Massachusetts Senator is a man who has never stopped asking what he can do for his country.”Ted’s story and the story of his family is known to all. It’s a story of service,” said Obama. “I wouldn’t be standing here today if it were not for the service of others.”

“People who love their country can change it,” said Obama. “This legislation will help harness patriotism.” Source: NECN.com

“The answers to our challenges cannot come from government alone,” said Obama.
